Daylights Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 I'm using my 10.6.2 OSX setup as a Mediacenter with Plex. Shutdown/Restart/Sleep(S3) works ok. Also wakeup by keyboard works, although I had to use SleepWatcher to schedule wakeup scripts which resets VoodooHDA kext (because sound was crappy after wakeup). The system doesn't want to wakeup by the (Harmony) remote, the IR receiver doesn't light up by any IR signal. I thinks it has something to do with the need of 5v on USB devices when the system is in S3 sleep mode. But I don't have a jumper of BIOS setting for that (as far as I know). Also wakeup by remote works with a Windows 7 setup on the same hardware, when the system is in S3 sleep the IR receiver than still lights up at every IR signal. Is there a way I can fix this?
