bartm669 Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 hello, i have tried a bunch of kext for my Realtek ALC662. the most recent was ALC662.kext which stopped my system from booting. my motherboard is an ASRock K10N78FullHD-hSLI R2.0 im currently running snow leopard 10.6.2 with modbin's kernel test 7 does anyone know how to get the Realtek ALC662 working? thanks in advanced Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried a lot of variants, but there is still no sound in SnowLeopard (RETAIL). In Leopard (iPC 10.5.8) sound works greate. Can someone help?) countofsorrow Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 I finally made it work by reinstalling voodooHDA using kext utility... not kext helper b7.. for some reason it would crash or take ages to repair extensions... try it out and I hope it will work for you VoodooHDA.kext.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
