kittierocks Posted February 15, 2010 Share Posted February 15, 2010 well i just bought myself a 1 GB DDR for my emachines 3410 running leopard 10.5.8. i installed the 1 GB alone with out the previous 512 MB DDR that came with my comp. and the computer wouldnt start so i put both DDR's into both of my available slots and it started fine. at Chameleon 2.0 bootloader it said i had 1.4 GB of memory so it started loading but once is put in my password it gave me a kernel panic!!! I Rebooted and this time i saw the desktop background after i put my password but before the dock showed up i got the kernel panic again!! anyone know why??? whats wrong help please Pm me if you can help oh and by the way im using the Voodoo kernel 9.7.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
