You can find some information in Netkas' site, here: http://netkas.org/?p=315 He provides a legacy kext (http://files.netkas.org/10.6.2/AtherosFix.kext.zip), so you can use your card in 32 or 64 bits mode. more informations here: http://www.efixusers.com/showthread.php?t=528 Hope this helps. Edit: have bought one today, just had to change pci id in kext, mine is pci168c,29; works like a charm. here is modified kext: AtherosFix.kext.zip

I have the TP Link tl-wn851n end i have the same dev id 168,0029 and dont work! System profiler don't see any card Hi. Are you sure your id is 168c:0029 ? I have read here that it works, but with kext available on thread first post, which contains pci id 168c:0023 Maybe you can try this kext, or show us what lspci reports about your card ? I don't see the card under pci cards as i didn't declare it in DSDT, but i'll try to do it asap. Just let me know. My adapter is D-Link DWA-547 lspci output: 04:01.0 Network controller [0280]: Atheros Communications Inc. AR922X Wireless Network Adapter [168c:0029] (rev 01) Subsystem: D-Link System Inc Unknown device [1186:3a78] System Profiler: Edit: Done it with DSDT, no kext, but TheKing had already done here so code working on my mobo is Device (WLAN) { Name (_ADR, Zero) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package () { "AAPL,slot-name", Buffer () {"PCI Slot 1"}, "class-code", Buffer () {0x00, 0x80, 0x02, 0x00}, "device-id", Buffer () { 0x2A, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "device_type", Buffer () { "AirPort" }, "model", Buffer () {"Atheros 802.11 b/g/n Wireless Network Adapter"}, "subsystem-id", Buffer () {0x87, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00}, "subsystem-vendor-id", Buffer () {0x6B, 0x10, 0x00, 0x00}, "vendor-id", Buffer () {0x8C, 0x16, 0x00, 0x00} }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } My card is under P0P1, add the device where needed in DSDT.
