Hello All,
I'm having a peculiar issue, where occasionally (maybe once or twice every few weeks) when I'm using Internet browser applications such as Firefox or Safari on my hackintosh, my screens will do a quick flash and the computer will be completely locked up. Everything is fine when I reboot, but the inconvenience is substantial, as it seems to happen randomly and causes me to lose any unsaved work that I was engaging at the time.
A few specs on the hack itself:
Dual 22 inch monitors
Core 2 Quad Q6600 overclocked to 3 Ghz
8 GB G-Skill Ram
Nvidia 8600 GTS 256 mb
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
Retail install of Leopard, and currently running at version 10.5.6
Any help that can be thrown my way, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!

How are you connecting to the internet? Recommend checking drivers for Wired or Wireless device.
Also try underclocking your cpu back to a normal level, sounds silly but just see if it is an instability issue.

I'm having the same problem - my screen flashes black and then locks up, but I can still move my mouse cursor.
for me this happens randomly, not always when I'm using the internet...
I used myHack Installer 1.0 RC5.2 on SL 10.6.2
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
Thanks!!!

i am also running lion os X at top speed with no issues what so ever.
Any help that can be thrown my way, I'd greatly appreciate it!
