I just want to share. I'm not sure if its just because I did the latest software update in the dark but I notice the screen got brighter.

Hey again, i'm encountering some strange issue with my trackpad...
When i'm moving my finger in the trackpad to move the mouse pointer somewhere, when i remove my finger it clicks by itself at the place where i leave the pointer, without me clicking, it's kinda annoying, since it clicks 3/5 of the time, tried different settings everytime, but it does nothing :/
I know that next netbookinstaller release will have a better kext for trackpad, but can't we just adjust this one?

i've replaced the device id and vendor id in IOBluetoothFamily ...Broadcom...plist from toine44's post 1018 BT usb injector kext and it enables bluetooth to be switched off w/o the need of the injector.
it will work for any Broadcom BT 270
NOTE - my experience is BT must be off for sleep to function properly.
EDIT - sleep has been working w BT on since I changed "ControlPowerState=Yes" w plist editor in /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
this is where the id changes were made
here is the modified kext - use kext helper to install.

You go in the wrong direction, the goal of the injector is to be immune from system updates.
I've downloaded here http://img1.focus-nu.....0PC 1201N.icc and installed in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles a calibrated profile who gives better colors than the default profile. To active it, go in system preferences - displays - color

thx for providing the converted hex id's toine44; i assumed additional drivers is the wrong direction - but that said i don't really know how your injector works. maybe you can elaborate its benefit over adding ids to original drivers?
i don't think any apple update will change the modified device ids once changed - and if there is a driver update it sure isnt difficult to once again add the ids.

1. - Restore Retail DVD to USB Flash Drive (I've used Sandisc 8GB Cruzer Mini)
also can be Mac OS X Snow Leopard Retail (10A432) from the internet but I prefer Retail 10.6.0 form eBay
1.a - Do not unmount it!
2. - Run NetBookBootMaker.app - link: netbookbootmaker.zip
2.a - choice your USB Flash Drive with SL OSX
2.b - prepare boot drive
2.c - close the NetBookBootMaker when finish
3. - Go to USB Flash into /Extra folder (I've used Disc Order 3 for Mac to do it)
3.a - Edit file: "com.apple.Boot.plist"
3.b - Add this lines:
<key>DSDT</key> <string>/Extra/1201N.DSDT.aml</string>
file should be looks like that:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>DSDT</key> <string>/Extra/1201N.DSDT.aml</string> <key>Boot Banner</key> <string>No</string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>SMBIOSdefaults</key> <string>No</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>5</string> <key>UHCIreset</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>device-properties</key> <string>c60000000100000002000000610000000200000002 010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff040010000000 6d006f00640065006c0000000b000000474d41203935302000 00004100410050004c002c00480061007300500061006e0065 006c0000000800000001000000590000000200000002010c00 d041030a0000000001010600001b7fff0400180000006c0061 0079006f00750074002d00690064000000080000000c000000 160000006200750069006c0074002d0069006e000000050000 0001</string> </dict> </plist>
3.c Save it - probably you will be prompted for a password
4. Unmount/Eject your USB Flash Drive and remove it
5. Insert the USB Flash Drive again
(I know it sounds idiotic, but otherwise I could not copy files into USB Flash Drive)
6. Explore the USB Flash Drive via Disc Order 3 or simular app
7. Create "Extensions" folder into /Extra
7. Copy files from /Extra/GeneralExtensions to /Extra/Extensions
I copied the following files:
- AHCIPortInjector.kext
- AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext
- AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext
- ApplePS2Controller.kext
- fakesmc.kext
- IOATAFamily.kext
- NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
- NVEnabler 64.kext
- OSXRestart.kext
- SMBIOSResolver.kext
- VAIOPEnabler.kext
The installer is launched but the keyboard and touchpad did not work
so I had to use an external keyboard and mouse on USB.
Will probably work if you copy yet:
ApplePS2Controller.kext or AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext or both.
That's all, now you can Eject/Unmount USB Flash Drive and remove it.
Now go to Step 2 -> http://groups.google...1n---usb-10-6-x
Cheers

So there is not a solution at this time for the wireless card.
Would a ful size mini pci card work like the one thats in a Dell inspiron 1720? Or is there just no space in it for that?

What does your System Profiler say?
I forgot to run the kext Utility after DSDT change - now work with 3GB
The last of my problems is the function of sleep - when I close my lid, the screen is off when I open the lid the screen switches back but when the lid will closed for longer after the opening lid the screen does not turn on
Similar problem is when I run sleep manually.
Here is my SystemProf.. dump in RTF: http://www.sendspace.com/file/9liv00
PS. sorry for my english

Just curious, has anyone tried the Tonymacx86 method of iBoot + MultiBeast on the 1201N? I am playing around with my GA-P35-DS3L system and plan to try it on there. It just came to me that I never tried it on the 1201N. Might be a way to boot via the DVD. If anyone has already tried it, let me know so I don't repeat a failed attempt. Thanks!
EDIT: I did give it a go, but the Retail DVD would not boot. So much for that.
