i trying to install snow leopard(Hazard 2nd Update )on hp pavillion dv6605 with th following configuration:
amd athlon 64 x
nvidia geforce 7m
The install cd boot boots but it ends with SIGSEGV 0

Just try the USB install method. I tried several "distro's" and imho they just suck.
I couldn't get any of the distro's to install successful on my laptop.
For the USB method you will need a working osx install, but a old leopard install should work fine.
