DSDT Question

Ok, so I have a Rampage Formula X48 motherboard, and I followed a tutorial on using their custom created DSDT made specifically for this board.

I didn't want to hijack that thread so I am posting this here.

How does the system choose which DSDT to look at upon boot if I have it "installed" in two places? IE: OSX (my OS X partition name)\Extra

and

USB Flash Drive\Extra

I figured that it would use by USB Flash drive since as I use it as my booter to boot my system (it contains all my chameleon boot files, and extentions). However, when I deleted my Extra folder on my main OSX partition (since I figured it was using the extra folder from my USB booter) I got a kernel panic when trying to boot into OS X. When I put the Extra folder back, no kernel panic. So, if its using the Extra folder from my main OSX, if I place my DSDT in that extra folder, it should be using that one right? If so, I should then be able to delete the Extra folder from my USB Booter..... right?
