But I just want the 'genuine' About This Mac window. How can I change the Hazard About this Mac to the genuine apple About This Mac? Ellis Posted January 26, 2010 Share Posted January 26, 2010 Go to this thread where you can download the original Mac OS X logo. Then right click on Finder in the dock and click on "Go to folder." Paste this in the box: /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources/ Then you should have the window open which contains the image file. Drag the image you downloaded in there and replace it. Log out and back in again and you should see the original OS X logo instead of the Hazard skull and crossbones.
