Hey all, I'm very new to this site, fairly new to the idea of making a Hackintosh but my motto is just fake it till you make it. So here I am. I installed Jas.Mac 10.4.8 on my Lenovo Y530-7343U and it just worked. It's very fast, no hang ups, very smooth install.

Camera, mouse, keyboard, dvd drive, usb ports, random eSata express card, all installed fine.

My ethernet, audio, wireless, and video drivers did not install but I'm not shocked as windows can't eve install these off the bat. My video card is a GMA 4500mhd so I have no hopes in getting it installed at the moment. My wireless card is not installing, I am currently trying to install a Belkin adapter that I found a workaround for HERE.

Ethernet is not a big deal. Audio I would obviously like to have. If anyone can help me with this?

Also, I would like to know what Mini - PCIE WiFi card I should buy for my laptop. Which 802.11n card is easiest to install and has great performance? Atheros seems to be a popular brand. It really doesn't matter to me personally.

Also, I'm working on getting boot camp on this so I can put Windows on it to use for work. This is just kind of a side note, any comments or assistance with this is appreciated.

Thank you all! I will continue to update this with my progress!

Bandwith set at 20Mhz o_0 Any way I can get this to 40?

First need to reinstall apparently. It ran a software update from the Apple site and now I get a Loading Darwin/x86 - Reboot loop. *sigh*
