Hey, the remapper works great however I encountered one problem I downloaded 0.9.15 and it freezes my mouse and sometimes my keyboard even as I install the program. After forcing my MacBook Pro to restart, it worked ... until I used some of the fn keys, where it would just freeze my mouse.

I was pleased to find and download this 0.9.16 so quickly and optioned to uninstall 0.9.15 first ... then everything started to freeze ... even after rebooting or if I touch the icon on the task bar. So I tried to Uninstall through the control panel and the same thing happened.

I was able to install 0.9.16 without uninstalling, and at first it seemed like it was fine untill I need to move my notebook, disconected everything (wireless mouse, power cord and ethernet cable) and the mouse froze again, but not eh keyboard.

The Mack Book is brand new with only Windows XP OS program loaded on to it.

Is there anyone else getting this problem?

Thanks for making the remapper!

The 0.9.17 version has safer install/uninstall so you should not see freezing at install and uninstall.

I don't know of any issue that could cause freezing of only one device when unplugging another device (either both or none should freeze if there was a bug in the driver). Some questions so I can try to reproduce your problem:

What model and manufacturer is your wireless mouse?

Did you install drivers from the manufacturer of the mouse, and what version?

Do you have FAT32 or NTFS on the system partition?

Yes, you are right, it was the wireless mouse (Logitech V200) as soon

as I unplug it in Windows it freezes my mouse only (and the touch pad)

the keyboard still works and I can "ctr-alt-fn-del" and use the arrow

keys ... and I did install the manufacturers drivers (I'll have to

check the driver version, but I got it only 2 weeks ago).

But as long as I don't unplug the receiver while the machine is on

everything else is doing great.

Quick question: (It is probably a stupid one) how do I get back to

the window to change the setup? It seems like I can never go back to

the original setup screen where I can choose which keys to assign.

Even if I right click the icon on the task bar.

I'll download 0.9.17.

Thanks

I went and bought a Logitech V400 mouse (they didn't have any V200). I can't reproduce your problem however. I use SetPoint 2.60 software downloaded from Logitech homepage. Could you confirm the version of your software?

You should have a "Run MacBook Config" in the right (or left) click menu on the system tray icon.

I used Logitech V270 BT mouse, when I check the scroll accelarate wheel in option and hit OK, but it's not save. I went back to and llok at the check box, it's uncheck by itself.

How do I save this mode ? and I still could not figure the screensaver mode yet

Thanks

The options are saved, but the dialog will always be reset to it's default state when you go into it.

Input Remapper has no screensaver mode. Maybe you are thinking about this utility: http://forum.onmac.net/showthread.php?t=1241
