Nv1ncible
I'm in the process of building a Hackintosh (doing a G5 case mod) and I plan on installing 10.6. The mohterboard I'll be using is an Asus P7P55D. My question is, is there a way to allow Mac OS X to control a dual boot, in the same way it does on an Apple machine? I know that Apple computers run the Darwin bootloader. Is it possible to use Darwin instead of Chameleon on my hackintsosh? I guess the main goal is for me to be able to start up my machine, see the white screen just as you do on an Apple, and then hold down alt (option) to choose which o.s. I'd like to use. Basically I want to replicate the start up process of my iMac, which I have running a dual boot via Boot Camp. I just like the look of it and want to keep this as close to an original install as possible. Thanks in advance.
