u1m2 Posted June 25, 2006 Share Posted June 25, 2006 Can we have a separate notebook section in which people can discuss notebook selections, install methods, information about notebooks etc... like for example I buy a Dell xxxx, I go to the notebook section and write I bought a Dell xxxx and used osx 10.4.x by Krusty the Clown etc.... here are the specs for chipset, processor, graphics, audio, lan, wlan, fw etc... this works otob, this needs this patch, this needs that patch etc... Thus we can have threads based on notebook models and voila, problems can be solved much easily imho. We can have a sticky updated regularly about how much each notebook is supported (point ranking system or something) and what hardware is included in each notebook.
