OpenGL is working, but i have a only Black, or fully transparent Menus without entries. Some graphics effects is looking damaged (like when drag-and-drop widgets on dash-board, i see dirt-flicker-area instead of waves around widgets ) 1. glxgears is work and show me 25233 frames in 5.0 seconds = 5046.600 FPS 2. glxinfo show me a lot`s of information about GLX extensions and other, include support of GL_ARB_multitexture, and other: OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation OpenGL renderer string: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT OpenGL Engine OpenGL version string: 2.0 NVIDIA-1.5.16 3. I work on widescreen monitor in 1440x900x75 Hz. I dont`t beleave what i`m alone with this trouble - "Transparent or black menus". Please help.. And.. WTF with forum search engine? Download latest NVinject.kext (0.2.1) 3. do chmod and chown with it, then copy in /System/Library/Extensions/ 4. open all Info.plist files and replace ID-s with my GeForce 7300 device ID - 0393 5. remove all caches. remove Extensions.mkext file 6. Reboot, of cource, and wait. 7. I see nice grey screen with apple, then grey screen is off. Then i see black screen. Wait. 8. Wait and wait. Black screen anyway. 9. Power off. ~~~ 1. boot with -s, remove NVinject.kext. Logout. Graphics is on, but, of course, without OpenGL. 2. Then install NVinject 0.2.0 - reboot - black screen. Install NVinject 0.1.3 - reboot - black screen. ~~~ 1. Only files from "leonvidia" work, but after removing GeForce7***.kext. I think, my methods is - vivisection. Someone have direct solution for hardware configuration like main? GeForce 7300 GT 256 Mb. ASUS P5B Motherboard Leopard 10.5.2 by Kaliway. Solutions please.. ? And, i think, i need from there only OpenGL framework, NV and GeForce kexts. Where i can read about ? How named this build? ~~~ Or my installation have modified kernel? GeForce 7300 is not extremely new card. I have GeForce 8600 GTS - on my job-computer. This card work nice and without problems. On home-station GF 7300 - real pain now. Of course, desktop, graphics work. All good with menus. But no acceleration. I need MacOsX for some graphics work. And openGL is really needed. Buying new graphics card - not for me. In my Linux this card work excellent. ~~~ Now i search, what i can do with NVDANV40Hal.kext. I sure - my solution is there. razinx Posted December 28, 2009 Share Posted December 28, 2009 Im having big issues getting my 7300gt to install I've tried Natit, NVinject, NVdarwin - all install and give me QE/CI, but mouse is severly lagged, like 20secs. I've tried via EFI strings and that just gets me a black screen with mouse pointer, also lagged I dont know what else to do Heres a panic I got when I got when it was the blackscreen Ive tried 10.5.6 installs of xXx, iPC and 1.5.x of iDeneb.
