Not able to browse internet

hi..

 

i have installed mac os zep. 10.5.2. rev.2 ... l'm not able to browse internet... network connection everything correct...

i tried with ping with my ip address i'm getting replay.... but when i open browser not able to connect internet... same net connection was worked last week and connection working in xp boot...

 

how to solve this.. plz... help...

ASUS A8n Vm (Graphics Chipset board) nvidia 6100 nforce 410 lan

 

i have installed nforcelan ... i'm able to configure Ethernet. in network. i tried ping test i'm getting replay with my ip .... but internet is not working ... last week it was' worked perfectly ... i have installed some software's .. any virus damaged any thing like that????.....mac register issue..???? automatic update issues ????... that...

 

i have reinstalled nforcelan driver ... but no luck...but broadband works when i boot xp...

Looks like the interface is up and running locally, but not routing correctly. Either the router/gateway is not configured on the Mac or the DNS is not right, assuming it works fine on Windows.

 

Try pinging yahoo directly (209.131.36.158) - if you get a response it is DNS at fault -> configure manually.

If not, the router address (should be 192.168.1.1, based on above) in network configuration is probably wrong -> configure manually.

thanks for the replay.... yesterday i reinstalled my os 10.5.2.... now everything working fine....how to update 10.5.2 to other versions....
