stinkyfish
Does anyone know what this /S/L/E kext does? I'm just wondering as I've uninstalled it to get a 10.6 setup working. If left in, the machine would KP on startup. Thanks.

riws
Boot again with Install DVD, start up Terminal from the Menubar and remove the file: cd /Volumes/THE_NAME_OF_THE_OSX_PARTITION/ rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTyMCEdriver.kext And boot then OSX with ignore caches. ameris_cyning
No, it just means that you didnt delete AppleTyMCEdriver. Try putting it in single user mode and try again.
