I've set up my first hackintosh today using a Lenovo T61 with an Intel Mobile GMX 3100 gpu-chip.

I used Ideneb and installed Mac OS 10.5.7 with it.

Sadly I made the mistake to install the graphic driver which came with the package.

So I followed this guide which offered a fix: http://www.infinitemac.com/f36/intel-gma-x...-drivers-t3603/

-Downloaded the 10.5.7 combo-update

-Installed the drivers with kext helper b7

-Installed combo-drivers (see link above)

-Repaired disk permissions

-rebooted

QuartzExtreme still doesn't work.

Do you have any idea what could be going wrong?

I would really appreciate any tipps as everything else (despite the Intel Wireless 4965AGN device) works by now.

Here is what the System Profiler says:

Intel GMA X3100:

Hey guys, I hope to help me in the acceleration of the graphics card and Quartz Extreme. I have installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on my dell 1525 laptop, and graphics acceleration is very slow despite having 2 GB of RAM, an example is that I can not use iWork and the menubar is not translucent. I would like to fix this problem since i only have this and the ethernet. Thanks in advance.
