ChriX
I've recently been trying to put together my second build, purposely to run Snow Leopard. I am currently running 10.5 with dual Quadro NVS 285s driving 3 monitors - perfection! However, I am having zero luck with 10.6. I have a Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, and have tried both the dual Quadros from my current rig as well as dual Asus 512MB 9400 GTs (newly purchased). I have successfully had one of the 9400 GTs working, but never two at the same time. All other hardware is working perfectly, I just need to crack the graphics cards to complete it. I am now unable to get any card working. I can't seem to find the 'best' or 'recommended' method, so have just been going through trying various combinations of NV kexts I've found, all of which either do nothing, or cause the 'you must restart your computer' message upon boot up. I'm hoping that someone can give some advice - which are the best pair of cards to run (most likely to work) - Quadros, 9400s or one of each? What kexts and what installation process? There are so many possible combinations it seems! Ta for any pointers.
