If I ever want to talk about osx86 in real life, how do I say it? "O-S-10-86"? "O-S-X-86"? I know OS X is pronounced "O-S-10" but isn't the whole point of the name osx86 for the x86 part (32-bit)? Kind of a stupid question, but just wondering.

1) In the Alphabet, "you get X Y Z", do you say "zee" or "zet"?

2)Did you know, Unicorns are not WHITE but PINK?

I pronounce it as OS (ex) 86. Then again, I have a habit of pronouncing OS X as OS (ex) instead of OS 10.

If you were to pronounce OS X, then it would be OS TEN. OSx86 is a play on both OS X and X86 architect, therefore, it would be pronounced as OS-Ex-86

So then I vote we make it OSx64 instead, since some or most of us use Snow Leo in 64 bit mode on our x86-64 enabled systems

x64 is not an architecture. Snow Leopard in 64 bit mode runs on the x86-64 architecture, which is just an extension of the x86 architecture. It would make no sense to change it.

And Oh-ess-tin (osx)
