stooovie
Hi! I have a nicely working 10.5.8 (iPC 10.5.6 updated with iDeneb kits) on HPXW4400 workstation (C2D, ICH7 board, 8 GB RAM, ATI X1950 Pro 256). It seems generally stable, but there are nasty kernel panics on working with large files (say, unpacking an ISO): it goes like this: I've tried various kernels, -legacy switch, but to no avail. The "BSD process name corresponding to current thread" is usually: update, mds, The Unarchiver... - all seem drive-related. What could be wrong? Thanks!
