figjoneshill Posted December 6, 2009 Share Posted December 6, 2009 I just got a cheap Dell Inspiron 1150 laptop. Updated to BIOS A07. This is not my first install of OSX on pc hardware. The one thing that is getting me is everything is shown at 800x600x8bit. Everybody says just change the UMA from 1MB to 8MB. "shared video memory problem. Be sure to have it set to 8MB in your BIOS." http://wiki.osx86project.org How are people doing this? Are you all running a Dell 1100 Bios?
