Here is the LAN kext but it works only for Ethernet (no WiFi).

I have similar notebook HP 6730b and SL 10.6.2 works fine with everything in 64 bit mode except sleep.

Note: for some reason, the attached kext spoils the shutdown/restart function and removing it wouldn't simply restore it but it will take lots of "careful" deleting from the system configuration plist files! .. use it at your own risk.

Hi. Thank you for the download.

I have a similar HP 6710b. Everything works except for the BCM5758 ethernet. It knows when the network cable is plugged in but say it does not recognize my network configuration. This really frustrating, can anybody help?

HI all...

i've installed Snow Leopard on my hp 6510b and it's great...but there are some problems.

1 - can't put battery information on the menu bar

2 - can't leave the hackbook pro alone cause if it go to sleep i need to restart

3 - i'm still run the system with the legacy boot cd i used to install

can you help me?!?

thanks in advance :(

Hi. Ive installed SnowOSX universal on my 6510b, it installs fine. Will this pack make everything work properly? How do i install it?

hi, i've installed snow leopard with a brand new retail disk so upgraded to 10.6.3.

After that with "kext helper b7" i've installed all the kext in the pkg...but i guess you can install them directly by clicking on the pkg.

than i've installed pcefi 10.6 downloaded by kexts.com and changed the boot file in the root directory.

one more thing...

you have to compile the com.apple.boot.plist and put it in the /extra directory.

remember to set the "arch" flag at i386 to have a full screen resolution.

now i got a semi-full working HackBook Pro, except for battery status icon on the menu bar and the sleep function...

How do i get wifi and sound working ? Is it possible so that when i close the lid it doesnt go to sleep? Sleep {censored}s up for me..

for the sound card you have to install the voodooHDA kext, for the wifi i don't know, mine was recognized automatically...
