strobo Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Hi, I have iDeneb 1.6 (osx 10.5.8 )on my ASUS V1S notebook and it is running. Even audio with voodoohda. I would like to use a dualhead setup with two displays. But there's a problem, when I connect a second TFT-Display to the external VGA port of the nVidia Geforce 8600 M GT graphics adapter. When I go to: System Preferences > Displays and click on "Detect Displays", the notebook display goes black and the whole machine hangs up so I have to switch of for reboot. Should I use another driver for my nvidia card? Now I am running NVDarwin > NVDarwin 512 MB. Do you have experiences with different driver? Maybe you could recommend a driver? In this thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t114838.html the NVInstallerV.41.pkg is mentioned. Should I use this one? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
