getting a restart your computer error

hey guys..hackintosh newbie here..here are my pc specs:

 

 

 

 

motherboard:asus P4B533-X

 

processor:pentium 4 2.00GHz

 

2gb ddr ram

 

nvidia geforce 4 mx440-8x

 

30gb ata drive

 

 

 

 

i read around and i noticed that jas 10.4.8 is perfect for older computers so i downloaded that..i also check HCL and all my hardware seems to be compatible.it installed without a hitch but when i restart i get the grey screen with the apple logo appear then after a few seconds i get this error

 

"You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button"

 

anyone got any idea?i read some where to type -v -f o but i dont know where to put it..when i reboot without the cd i get the "loading darwin x86" and the spinning forward slash then the grey apple screen..any ideas guys??
