I just upgraded my emac from 10.4 to 10.5 using the archive and install option. It finished okay and rebooted. So far i've noticed that the dock and menu bars look exactly as they did in 10.4. Even the system preferences icon is the same as it was in tiger. It seems that about half my applications refuse to launch, even after re-downloading several. Also, I can not do a software update. It gives the error NSURLErrorDomain error -1100. When I goto About this mac, it says i'm running 10.5, but it seems like it didn't update everything. What did I do wrong? Is there a way to fix this without a complete reinstall?
