jacksonhyde
Hello all, forgive me if this has been covered somewhere else; I did search the forums but couldn't find anything relevant. I'm putting together a parts list for a dual boot hackintosh/windows machine, with the aim of using the windows partition for programming/3d work and gaming, and the osx partition for design related stuff. I'd really like to use a Crossfire or SLI dual graphics card setup for windows, but from my research it seems like this is a fair way from being compatible with osx86 builds. Even if it is possible, it's probably beyond my ability. Motherboard specs allowing, would it be possible to run 3 graphics cards with each boot partition recognizing the appropriate configuration (eg. Windows uses Crossfire/SLI and ignores the third card, and vice versa for the OSX86 partition). Ideally it would be good if this could be automatic, so that I don't have to modify the bios settings each time I boot into a different partitions, although I imagine it's not quite as easy as installing the right drivers and powering up. Can anyone shed any light? Thanks in advance.
