OS X + VMware Fusion + Windows 7 + Remote Desktop

Hi All,

I have a desktop machine that I have successfully run as a Leopard Hackintosh. Recently Ive had Windows 7 installed, as I can use the Remote Desktop to connect to my work's laptop using the "/span" commandline which doesn't work in OS X Remote Desktop. I want to use both monitors for remote desktop, as I can then have multiple documents and spreadsheets visible concurrently.

I then though, since I own a license of VMWare Fusion, could I do the following:

1) Install Snow Leopard onto my hackintosh desktop which has two monitors.

2) Install VMware Fusion

3) Create a Windows 7 VM

4) Run the Windows 7 VM in unity mode

5) From Windows 7 run Remote Desktop to connect to my work's laptop using the /span command to use both screens.

Is anyone able to verify this?

Win 7 is a great OS, but I'm slowly moving all my home kit over to OS X.

Cheers
