Guest barrick
Ok well some of my linux friends from the ubuntu community and i are trying to port the linux driver for the GMA 4500 to mac. We will keep u posted =D
陈小龙
I'd gladly help with this. Although I don't know much about programming and porting, I can help test anything. I have Ubuntu 9.10 x64 and Snow Leopard x64 installed (and Fedora x32 in a virtual machine). Anyway, good luck with this!!

junoir
well, I too have this GFX card and I'm willing to test out any developments made. maybe you should try porting the BSD driver, as there is one for the 4500 available; BSD is, AFAIK pretty similar with OSX. anyway, I'm willing to help to some extent, although i don't know c++ that well

junoir
BSD driver link please well, after some searches on the net, If found this http://forums.pcbsd.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=10936 about the x3100 gma, which is very simmilar to the x4500, where it says that xfree86 video i810 supports the g45/q45 chipset. i'm uncertain about the download page; i've found this http://www.freebsdsoftware.org/x11-drivers...ideo-intel.html but it doesn't point to a download link, so i'm now officially stuck . the x.org has the i810 is on the ftp(ftp://ftp.x.org/pub/individual/driver) but i'm afraid that's for linux, not bsd.
