Suse linux, xp pro also one with sp2 xp integrated, macbook leopard discs retail Iatkos i5 that boots but won't verify The box Gigabyte G41M-ES2L Dual core intel cpu GeForce 7600 GT 2 gig ram nec dvdrw What i have tried, I have a used hardrive but I formated to a mac with the iatkos dvd which I can get to disk utility and partion and all the It starts the install and goes as far as verify disk and then stops at 90%, says to clean disk and then restart. I have tried to reburn iatkos. Questions 1. Should i do a regular xp install with 2 partions first? 2. Should I unplug the 7600GT and stick with the onboard vga? 3. What distro might work better for me. 4. Would it be better to do Suse with dualboot? Awaiting replies to get my dream machine.
