trying to make my imac triple boot

hello,

 

last month my imac system crashed. and since them i have tried to make my imac triple boot.

 

the software are:

 

Mac OS X 10.5.8

Windows Vista Ultimate SP2

openSUSE 11.2

 

and

 

rEFIt & GParted

 

at first, i installed mac, and it runs okay.

secont, i installed windows and it also works okay.

but thire. when i try to install openSUSU, during the installlation, it has bunch of problems.

 

the error messages are like:

 

cannot download xxx.xxx.xxx file. (i clicked retry, and still no use)

or

file had been modified, cannot install

 

also error messages like:

 

"WRONG DIGEST"

 

so why am i getting these wierd problbems?

It sounds like you're having network problems in the OpenSUSE installer. If there's an option to install using local media only, try to use it. If you're using the small network installer, try downloading and using the 4.7GB DVD image instead.

 

It's also conceivable that you could get the network working by issuing some command-line commands, but this is the sort of debugging that works best in person; there are too many possible causes of this sort of problem for me to be able to suggest one or two specific commands that are likely to fix it.
