I would say yes except the WiFi connection. I have SL 10.6.2 installed on my HP 6730b and works fine in both 32 and 64 bit modes (Voodoobattery doesn't work in 64bit tho ;) ).

Try to google for "OSX Universal v3.6" and update your kexts later as needed.

yes it is working, my dvt7 is currently working with the same specs except i have 6gb ddr mem and my graphics card is the 320m instead. So yes it is working

So you're saying your system is actually working?! With All four cores, sound and graphics? Are you running a dual boot as well perhaps?
I've got the same specs as you, I think,(Dv7t 3085dx Core i7 720QM) and I've been trying for a week now to install OS X with a dual boot Win7!!! I've tried with iAtkos v7, but could only boot into OS X in "safe mode". And I think it doesn't support 64 bit... I'm not too sure either which patches, kexts and fixes to install and how to properly do it!

I would be very very very greatfull if you could give me a 'detailed' rundown/installation guide on how you made the OS X work?! Or at least which OS X version and patches you applied...

Cheers!!!

I would recommend #####+##### for your laptop. I succeed to install 10.6.3 vanilla kernel with cpus=1 and legacy kernel with cpus=8 on my DV7-3085DX which is similar to yours.

Cheers,

Edit on Sep 29, 2010 -- You can find more info at HP DVx 10.6.4 Easy Comprehensive Installation .
