l, I got an old Beige G3 mini tower, and recently installed 10.2 and upgraded to a pci video card, the card works well once the system boots, but, during the boot process, all I see is a blacked out screen on my monitor, and when nearing the end of the boot process, the screen suddenly comes to life, and I see the familiar blue colored back ground with the rectangular box with MACOSX

I can only assume during the boot process, the onboard video kicks in, which I no longer have connected to the monitor, and am unable to see the familar white background with the apple logo and turning pin wheel as it boots up, an only at the very end of the boot process, do I see activity on my monitor,

anyone know of a way to redirect the boot process to the newly installed video card on a pci slot??

riws,

Thanks for the link, it works well, but, it defeaults during the boot process to what looks like 640x480, if you happen to know a way to change the setting to boot at a higher resolution, that would be great, better than having a blacked out screen during the boot process...
