Would this be possibly? And could you program it in C++? I've looked all over for an app that does the some thing this does: http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/

The guy gives you the source, and i was wondering if I or someone who wants to do it for me, could port it to the iPhone OS...would it be possible and can you or I do it?

Thank you,

umm, why would you want an app that does that anyway??? You wouldnt need to port PHP...

It would be possible to make an app that has a window which you insert text into, then it "translates it"...

Theoretically it wouldn't be too difficult, but you would need to know how the thing actually converts the text in the first place...

If i finish learning ObjectiveC and write my own app, i might start thinking about something like this... I was thinking a code greater and converter... but thats ages away

If you were to do it, you would:

1. Get the iphone SDK, write the program after learning ObjectiveC

2. Test it with the iphone simulator

3. Buy a license for $99 to allow you to test on devices and publish

4. Add to the app store for someone like you...
