st3p
Is the Licensing system working on Snow retail Hackintoshes? I know there is some bug related to importing wavs and aiffs into tracks and the 10.6.2 update seems to solve that, Steinberg is also working on official updates for Snow (& Win7 also) compatibility, and this is ok. But, before buying 5, I wanted to know if someone of you tried to install and if licensing works or gives problems, being not on a real Mac. Thanks in advance for sharing infos !! laneyanders
I have no Cubase 5, but Ableton Live 8 and Cubase 4.1 - everything like on a "real" Mac... If your Hack Mac is well configured and reliable, you can buy Cubase 5, it will work 100% good jammin'

I heard on an old thread here (that i can't find again) that you must input an osx serial in your smbios.plist for the dongle to be properly installed. Anyway my "Mac" should be properly configured, I was running Logic8 these days just to test stability with my audio device, a TC Konnect Live, and it runs perfectly, also better than in my Win setup. Also I have a Vanilla install, so everything should be like the "real thing"...I'll try. Thanks A-LOT !!!
