lane
My new job may require me to have a Windows native laptop for work. I may need to buy a Macbook Pro in other words. My current laptop would then be up for sale Powerbook 1.67ghz October 2005 with Hi-Res screen 1440x960 resolution 2gb DDR2 4200 100gb 7200 rpm Dual Layer DVD+-RW Drive This model has Firewire 800, S-Video, and a 56k modem I have the original box and packaging plus the restore cd's that include OS X 10.4.3 and iLife 06'. I also have the full version of Office 2004 included and I intend to pre-install a copy of Adobe CS 2. The laptop has two small dents in the right side (i'll add pictures later) from the first month I owned it and my idiot friend knocked it off a table. Apple has replaced the Power Cable for me recently so you get a brand new power supply without any wear or tear on it. I am curious to see what this community thinks it might be worth. .:: Edit ::. rmriggin's pm convinced me to post more about the laptop. The damage is all cosmetic and the warranty is still good until October 2006 on this so you can still purchase Apple Care on it. There are no stuck pixels and the battery is capable of lasting 4 - 5 hours as advertised on these models.

INFNITE
somewhere between $1000 to $1500 would be my guess...maybe lower than that because MacBooks fall into that cost range, and MacBooks are faster than PowerBooks.
lane
Yeah the Macbook pricing is rough but fortunately people on eBay are willing to pay grossly inflated prices for Mac Hardware. i.e. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEDW%3AIT&rd=
