chapin Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 I've been reading a lot of the thread about getting iAtkos going on the Inspiron 1318, and have been running 10.5.5 on my laptop for a good 3 or 4 months, minus muted speakers when you plug in the headphones, and still using SleepDisplay. I noticed at the end of the thread somebody talked about getting the retail version of Snow Leopard going on an Inspiron 1318, and everything pretty much working? I'm wondering if it would be worth purchasing the retail DVD, or should I go about upgrading to Snow a different way? I've tried to upgrade to iAtkos v7 but I always get a kernal panic when booting the disc, and haven't tried any other distros of it (Kalyway, iDeneb, iPC). Any thoughts?
