bluedragon1971
I'm using a $15 Apitek PenCam with the Macam drivers. Bought it at Wal-Mart under the brand name of Digital Concepts. Works fine, although the resolution is crappy.

bluedragon1971
What would cause the Video to be upside down on a Webcam using USB and maccam drivers? I have a VeoStingray Webcam and the image appears upside down in both macam and yahoo. I read somewhere (the discussion board on the Sourceforge page for Macam maybe, I can't remember) that this was a problem with certain cameras. I think there was a fix for it. You might want to e-mail one of the developers to see if they can help you.

miramar
I'm using an old Sony DV camcorder. It's mounted on a small tripod behind my LCD and is connected via firewire to the hackintosh. Great quality, auto focus and IR mode when I need it. mir...
