Hi
i use a n280 gma950 netbook
sl 10.6.3 tea kernel 10.6.3 and netbookinstaller by merklort
first used the netbbok installer and after iodate with tea kernel

the system work fine but i have no speedstep anyone has a solution.

I try to tweak my dsdt with my pstate but not work.

Removing sleepenabler and nullcpupower = kernel panic

can anyone post the dsdt from atom 270/280 modified for speedstep?

I could update SL to 10.6.3. I had no sleepenabler or fake so I have no need to unistall anything. I just made a pendrive with netbookinstaller 0.8.4 (Merklot's new one) and run SL update and Tea's patch. Reboot but I did that from my usb, opened disk utility and direct to netbookinstaller option. When finish, restarted and everything was there :( . Only reinstalled audio.
Hope it helps. Regard. Mipf06

What about Atom 330 X86_64 support on the net 10.6.3 kernel? I'm running it on arch=i386 at the moment because 64 bit choice doesn't run..

Thanks!!!! The patched mach_kernel 10.3.0 works on my AOA 150-1140.
Dont forget to update Sleepenabler.kext before you upgrade to 10.6.3, otherwise you will get KP. -_-

No update on 64 bit version of 10.6.3 with atom support?

Current version of mach_kernel_atom contain patch for 64-bits Atom too. Not tested by me.
More detail please. Do you have KP? Please post screenshot of KP.

I don't have a KP - I use Chameleon 2.0 RC4 to boot, I run with the attached DSDT and com.apple.boot.plist. If I alter the kernel flag in the boot list to x86_64 (which is what used to work on the same computer with 10.6.2 kernel) it doesn't get past the kext loading screen, goes black and computer restarts.

Edit: Screenshot added from Chameleon Wait=Yes

No advance on finding out why I can't boot a 64 bit kernel?

tea's patched mach_kernel_atom not support Atom 230/330 64bit.

32bit kernel is ok, but 64bit kernel is loop of reboot without no message,
because "Unsupported CPU" still panic in cpuid_set_info() on 64bit kernel.

i modify tea's patch, repatch to mach_kerne_atom. new patched kernel is mach_kernel_atom64.
