umasan Posted November 8, 2009 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Hi. I am having a strange phenomenon on my ECS NF650iSLIT-A mobo. First, it seems that, among many, only iDeneb 10.5.5 install disc boot. Installation was very easy and almost all worked OK. However, I could not boot after applying iDeneb combo updater to 10.5.7 (typing voodoo at the beginning of boot). The wheel under 'apple' just keep spinning. I waited more than 3 hours. Failed install discs are, iDeneb 10.5.6, 10.5.7; iATKOS 10.5.6, 10.5.7; iPC 10.5.6. All these discs developed communication problem. I have a question. If I install 10.5.5 on two HDs or partiotions, is it possible to copy contents of an install disc to one Hd (or partition) and start installing on the other HD or partition without rebooting?
