[Tissues]

Hi,

I have installed a new hard drive on my Macbook.  I am able to power on the comp and inserted the Mac OS CD 1.  The apple symbol shows and the circle below as if its loading the CD.  It then goes into a blue screen and quickly into a black screen.  Mac told me all I needed was a hard drive but there has to be something else wrong with my macbook.  

I have installed a new Western Digital hard drive.  Any suggestions on what else could be wrong?
