jonajona Posted July 1, 2006 Share Posted July 1, 2006 Yaaayyy.... I got myself a MacBook as well.... yesterday. It's sooooo freaking nice. I would've waited for merom but I just couldn't help it anymore. I have a week 25... and so far no issues. I did get the base 2Ghz one with only 512MB or RAM. I'm gonna max it out with 2GB later this summer. Anyways, my MacBook is the bomb!!! I got tired of hackintoshing. I couldn't stand not having QE/CI. colorfuel Posted July 6, 2006 Share Posted July 6, 2006 Having my first mac as a MacBook 2.0 white.. with 1,280Ram, gonna upgrade to 2Gb Ram soon, eventho 1,280 seems enough for my needs. It's an absolutely lovely machine. I'm just waiting for a tool to manually deciede the clockSpeed of the coreduo. Because I dont see why it should be running at 1.5 ghz, while surfing, as it could also run on 1.33 or 1.0 ghz. I would also give even more Battery life.
