to start off im using the macbook 1.1 and it was bought referbished. My problem is when i go and do a system update or install an app which requires a restart it often will not reboot and a long error that ends saying mac os not yet set. i can bypass the error by rebooting the mac and while it boots i press the option key and it opens a boot up menu, i select the mac hd and it works from there with no issues. i can shutdown and restart as many times as i want and it will work fine unless i do a update or install app which requires a reboot. im led to believe it may have something to do with the firmware or possible the motherboard has some issues. I pulled out the memory and relized that they are not the same one says made in uk and the other says korea. i doubt thats the problem. If anybody has any idea please post a response. I would like to be able to install apps and updates without having to bypass that error evertime. thanks :D
