juano Posted November 2, 2009 Share Posted November 2, 2009 Hi, A weeks ago my hackintosh start to freeze when i try to play a game, view videos or use a 3D app. After format, reinstall, hardware cleaning nothing change. I get an other HD with Windows and i note that the computer freeze with games or 3D too, and i think the video card have a temperature problem or something. With a windows software called RivaTuner i speedup the gpu fans at 80% (70˚ idle to 52˚) but the freezes doesn't stop. Other thing i do was underclock the gpu, and it seems to work a little (heavy games freeze anyway) but i can work with 3D apps or surf the web without restarting my machine every 5'. The question is, are any soft to underclock my video card like RivaTuner or i'll forget to use my adorable Osx? Thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
