I have tried porting applehda to SL and I have modded dsdt to no avail. Any help is appreciated. Codecs uploaded. I'd love to get things working... any help much appreciated! Me too am struggling with ALC889 on a MSI GD80 MB with 0SX 10.6, while Win7 and UBuntu it works well.
