Macbook Riser

The problem I see, as shown in the video, if the surfaces you stick the feet on are not the same height, ie, in the video the cover for the drive was 3-5mm higher than the other side, then your whole notebook will be standing at an angle!

This will not be a problem for my Macbook, but it will be for my HP,

Also the left foot will be covering more than a quarter of the CPU Airvent thus not improving cooling!

Just what stop the foot with all the cables attached, falling in behind the desk?!

So, make sure you checkout your system BEFORE you buy this "not so well thought out idea" product!

So I went to their site EDIT to look at the riser but instead found this product called The Rail.

Got it on Friday and I have to admit it works great. I have the new 21.5 iMac and have quite a few cables all over the desk. Thought I would join your site to give some feedback. Thanks great forum.

OSX86GURU - Chill out. If you don't like the product then don't use them. To say something is useless is a personal bias.

Angled keyboards are ergonomically better than a flat keyboard position. Look are your home keyboards, the new MAC wireless keyboards for the iMacs. Why are they angled? I use a flatter type of riser than folds back down but gives me to two typing angles. I would not do without these.
