Hey Insanely Mac,

System info first.

500GB sata xp/leopard partition

150GB sata backtrack

15GB ide Snow leopard.

Ga ep45 ds3l

quad 8300 2.5

Today I attempted to install backtrack 4

It worked but it didnt install the grub bootloader to the drive or it installed it to the wrong drive. So I booted the live cd then opened up grub restore selected unbuntu and it gave me an option of 1 disk I assumend it would be the linux harddrive, well it wasnt.

Know when I go and try to boot leopard I get black screen then computer restarts

So i used a ds3l boot cd to boot snowleopard and when i go to disk utility the partition where leopard use to be isnt there anymore it says its a linux partition, I didnt believe disk utility so I booted into backtrack and mounted my leopard parition, everything was there, (phew!!!) and it says it an hfs+ format. I think the parition map got damaged some how how do I resotore it?

btw if the bootflag is set for xp, then xp will boot fine.

Please help me out or point me to the right direction

Thanks for your time
