Quick Question about the 4850 and adapters for it

I have a 4850, cant rember model its a single slot with 2 DVI, currently running dual monitors on 10.5.8 (about to upgrade to sl)

 

I am using DVI-HDMI and just DVI (DVI2VGA did not work) now I also have a S video/composite/Component output and when I get a new tv I want to hook it up using component to mirror my main display

 

has anyone done this before? Does it work?

 

 

also what the status on crossfire with these cards? I cant seem to find a solid source. (before I go buy another one)
