DeathByGuitar Posted October 22, 2009 Share Posted October 22, 2009 I've got the dreaded 4850 with DVI, HDMI, and VGA and I'm running 10.5.8, and when I start the thing up it boots to the desktop, but the screen is in a strange checkered pattern. I read somewhere this has to do with framebuffers that need patching. I've tried ATY_init, Natit, the patched framebuffers and exotic framebuffers from #radeonhd, all to no avail. The dongle trick isnt really much of an option since im flat broke right now. Has anyone gotten this thing to work at all? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
