Could not find: com.apple.ReportCrash.Self Well here's a quick and simple fix... Navigate to: System>Library>LaunchAgents>com.apple.ReportCrash.Self.Plist Copy the file: com.apple.ReportCrash.Self.Plist Navigate to: Users/Home/Library Create a new folder in Library titled: LaunchAgents Paste: com.apple.ReportCrash.Self.Plist in LaunchAgents Delete the original: System>Library>LaunchAgents>com.apple.ReportCrash.Self.Plist Voila! It would appear that the vanilla OS X Nvidia driver/kext breaks sleep, shutdown & restart for the laptops. I have tried EFI strings, DSDT patching, injector kexts and most recently graphics enabler =y. Once the card is fully recognized & OS X loads the Nvidia kext, we no longer have sleep, shutdown or restart. Any chance you have an idea on a work around or do you have an "in" with someone who can create a special Nvidia Laptop kext to fix the issue? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! Beerkex'd Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 I don't have any Hackintosh experience with laptops. Imo your best bet is to stalk Krazubu and friends over at the ProjectOSX forums. Start with the 'guide for all nvidia boards' thread. Try NVEnabler.kext or Netkas' ATY_Init.kext. Those are the most modern Video Injectors. The latter even works with both ATI and Nvidia. NVEnabler is currently the only way to get working TV-out on Nvidia cards. (heheh) Your sleep issue could also be caused by something else entirely, maybe it's a compatibility issue related to OS power management that is exposed by using Chameleon's graphics enabler, rather than directly caused by it. Try one of the restart/shutdown fix kexts. I've had the best results with EvoReboot.kext. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Could not find: com.apple.ReportCrash.Self and the file does not exist in the system \ library \ LaunchAgents and even in user \ library \ LaunchAgents how can I fix this?
