Hi,

as per subject, I've tried almost everything to no use.

Pc is compaq 110-1020sl, SL working except wifi and ethernet (possibly sleep but I don't mind now) I would be happy with wifi working

Wifi card according to lspci -nnv (see the last part) is Broadcom 4310 USB (?)

Here the full lspci -nnv: (I highlighted in bold the wifi module part). Problem is with host bridge, wifi module or both?

EDIT: NOTE THAT THIS IS THE SAME lspci -nnv THAT I GET IN LEO, WHERE WIFI WORKS...

Same model of Compaq and same problem, i've tried all the possible workaround without any success. By disassembling i can say that the wifi card is a Broadcom 4312. It seems the card is not supported by snow leopard, with the leopard kexts airport card is recognized but it is off and i can't turn it on

For me sleep works very well, i've some minor issues with audio

Just for info, there are people trying to get wifi to work in Snow Leopard for the new HP 311 here

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=189621

For what I read in that thread, the new HP 311 mounts the same wifi module as our 110.

It can be interesting to follow that thread too.

Let's keep in touch for any development anyway
